What styles do you teach?

I specialize in Bollywood, ballroom, slow dances, garba, raas, religious, Indian classical, folk dances, hip hop, Latin and shuffling/cutting shapes. Of course, I work with you to deliver the type of routine you're dreaming of, so that means a fusion of any of these forms is possible.

What is your pricing?

Great question. I would want to know the same, but since my services vary greatly, the answer depends. The price for couples choreo is a bit different than the price of group choreo. Some of my clients choose to have two choreographed dance numbers, and others choose to have 4. Certain clients also like to lock in extra practice time with me before show day. The best way for me to give you an accurate price is to understand exactly what you're looking for. I have no experience dancing or performing. Can you still help me?

The simple answer is YES! I tailor my choreo to accommodate the varying skill levels of all my clients. Rest assured that I will be by your side until you're 100% confident in your routine. I truly believe that anybody can dance. A little tip, remember to smile during your performance. As long as you're having fun, your guests will enjoy every moment!

Soni, I'm ready for my Bollywood debut... what are the next steps?

Yay! First, we'll discuss your vision for your performance. Do you want a classic 90s style Bollywood routine, or are you aiming for something ethereal and romantic? We'll also discuss song selection in advance. I will tailor your routine to your desired style before your first practice, we'll decide a day & time and then we rock and roll!

How much in advance should I book?

As soon as possible. My availability fills up quickly. To ensure you have adequate time to learn and thoroughly practice your routine for show day, I suggest you contact me as early as you can. Fill out my Booking form and I will get back to you within 24 hours.

Where are your classes?

Usually, I travel to your location if you're in within a 50 mile radius from me. This is something we can chat through when you book. I offer virtual classes as well, so if you're not based in the tri-state area, we can still work together.

I need help making my dance mix.

I've been here and I understand how problematic this can be if you don't personally know a DJ who can help. Luckily, I've partnered with my good friends at Volcanik Entertainment who can help build you a high quality mix with smooth transitions between songs that will sound crystal clear at your venue.
